The elderly care in Umeå municipality aims to be a resource that liberates and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction.

Dragonens care and support residence is located in Dragonfältet near Umeå city center. The residence, built in 2008, features an outdoor environment with two large patios, generous balconies on each floor, and good opportunities for outdoor activities. The building has three floors with 96 rooms.

To allow our care staff to focus more on care, we are now looking for someone interested in working with the surrounding tasks that also exist in our care and support residences. By complementing with this role, we create better conditions to achieve our vision: “Together for a better life - life out!”

We now need to strengthen our team at Dragonens care and support residence with more service resources!

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will primarily work with laundry and cleaning tasks. This includes washing residents' and staff's clothes as well as cleaning apartments, laundry rooms, and common areas.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in cleaning work. It is advantageous if you have a cleaning education or similar. As a person, you are a team player who understands the importance of collaboration. You value performing your work with good quality and have a strong sense of service. To function in this role, you also need to be good at receiving instructions and working independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability!

It is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, so that you can easily communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues.

Heavy lifting may occur, and aids are available.
